Phoenix Society provides mental health and substance use support to individuals to enhance well-being. We do this by addressing the social determinants of health and by fostering stronger community connections and inclusion. We meet people where they’re at and create a safe environment to take action towards their goals. Our programs and services span prevention, early intervention, harm reduction, treatment, recovery, housing, employment, community inclusion, health care and education.
The Provincial Specialized Adult Substance Use Treatment Program is for adults 19 years of age and older who have a severe and high risk substance use disorder and may also have mild-moderate stabilized mental health issue. Services are designed for people who have experienced multiple relapses, and whose treatment needs for substance use and addiction are more than what their local community health resources or health authority have been able to meet. Referrals can be completed with the individual and in partnership with their community care team and applicable Regional Health Authority Liaison. You can find more information on the process and the referrals forms here.
