The Youth and Young Adult Stabilization and Transitional Access to Recovery program is a 30–60-day live-in program that is designed for male-identifying, nonbinary, and two-spirited individuals aged 17-24.
Phoenix, in partnership with Vancouver Coastal Health, offers a clinically supported, safe, and structured short stay to help improve individuals’ access to and engagement with healthcare and support services. Stabilization is provided through a 24/7 care team, including support for daily living activities, addiction medicine and primary care support, medication management and individualized care planning.
Residents can participate in optional programming, including structured group sessions, music therapy, cultural activities, peer-led meetings, and assistance with school or work. Each person is supported through one-on-one check-ins and personalized care planning.
A post-stabilization/transition plan will be developed within two weeks of admission to guide support services. This program is located at the Phoenix Society Main Campus in Surrey, BC.
