Phoenix’s Rising Sun is a multi-program housing community offering housing options along the continuum. Located in Surrey, Rising Sun features recovery based transitional and long term housing, affordable homeownership (no longer accepting applications), in addition to Community Residential Facility programs for adults, aging adults that require medical support, and transitional housing for those leaving correctional facilities.
The transitional housing program provides up to 24 months of recovery-oriented housing for adults 19+ who are building stability after completing substance-use treatment. The program provides a structured, substance-free living environment where residents are offered the support, resources and connection to move toward long-term wellness. Residents live in single-occupancy rooms with a kitchen, bathroom and shower.
Rising Sun includes Community Residential Facility programs for individuals referred through Correctional Service Canada. For more information about the CRF and Aging Adults program, please visit the Community Connection & Inclusion section of the website.
Across all programs, Rising Sun emphasizes dignity, routine, and personalized planning. Through structured support, community partnerships, and shared spaces like the community garden, residents build skills, strengthen independence, and move forward with confidence.
This program is located in Surrey, BC.
