The Phoenix-Kwantlen Learning Centre (PKLC) is a tuition-free adult education program that allows participants to build their foundational skills, boost their confidence and prepare for future opportunities. A collaboration between Phoenix and Kwantlen Polytechnic University, PKLC offers community-based instruction in English, math, and study skills, ranging from basic literacy to grade 11. Participants receive tailored support to complete their GED (General Educational Development) or ABE (Adult Basic Education), to prepare for post-secondary education, or to access career-focused training programs. By improving their literacy, numeracy, and employability, PKLC empowers learners to achieve lifelong education and career goals. Whether returning to education after time away or refreshing key competencies, Phoenix and KPU work together to create pathways for growth and success.
PKLC is open to anyone. Participants can self-refer.
