STABILIZATION Program | Men’s Treatment

Phoenix Society’s STABILIZATION Program provides a safe, shared accommodation, structured short stay for up to 3 to 6 weeks for men 19 years of age and older who are homeless or at risk of homelessness due to substance misuse. Our focus is to improve participants’ access to and integration into services through assessment, care planning, motivational counseling, client matching and service brokering.

This highly structured program focuses on processes of stabilizing people from an addiction-based lifestyle and moving into a recovery-based one. It is funded by Fraser Health Authority’s Mental Health and Substance Use Services.

  • personal health care coaching
  • stress management
  • mindfulness
  • emotional management training
  • novel learning experiences to animate change including Humanities 101, creative writing, yoga, arts-based activities and volunteerism in the community

  • employment assistance services

Referrals

Substance use and mental health professionals may refer applicants to the program.

Apply with Fraser Health Central Intake by connecting with your local Substance Use Service Center. Drug & alcohol counselors will work with you in seeking treatment and funding if needed.
